Does the FRT fit the Glock 19X?

Yes. The 19X uses the standard Glock trigger assembly, so the billet flat-face shoe and reset components fit. Because the 19X is built on the Gen 5 fire-control system, treat it as a Gen 5 fit.

The one Gen 5 step

The 19X ships with a factory ambidextrous slide release. Swap it for a Gen 4 slide release before fitting the FRT — the ambi lever interferes with the trigger bar otherwise. This is the same step required on any Gen 5, Gen V or Gen 6 pistol.

• Start with the round reset; move to the trim-to-fit reset only if it binds.
• A heavier (20 lb+) recoil spring helps the slide return with authority.
• Function-test with snap caps before live fire.

Frequently asked questions

Does the 19X need any special parts?

Only a Gen 4 slide release in place of the factory ambidextrous one — the same as any Gen 5 Glock. Everything else is included in the kit.
