Installation means removing the factory trigger bar, driving the trigger pin out of the original shoe, fitting the new billet shoe, and positioning the reset before the pin goes back in. Many customers install it without trouble; others need light fitting, tuning, filing, or trimming. Every Glock is slightly different, so professional installation by a qualified gunsmith is strongly recommended. A 20 lb (or heavier) recoil spring and a 3.5 lb trigger kit with connector often improve reliability.

Is this hard to install?

It depends on your pistol. The kit is not a true drop-in — it requires disassembling the factory trigger assembly and may need fitting or light trimming. If you haven't done trigger work before, have a gunsmith do it.

Does it make the pistol automatic?

No. This is a semi-automatic component. Each round fired requires a separate pull of the trigger. The reset is mechanical and simply returns the trigger forward faster.

Which reset should I use?

Start with the round reset — it's closest to drop-in for most pistols. If your Glock needs more adjustment, the trim-to-fit reset can be filed to suit.

Do I need other parts?

Not required, but a 20 lb or heavier recoil spring and a 3.5 lb trigger kit with connector often improve reliability. Gen 5/6 owners need a Gen 4 slide release.
